    Rate of effusion gas/rate of effusion H2 = √ (M (H2)) / √ (M (gas))

    0.344 = √2/√ (M (gas))

    √ (M (gas)) = √2/0.344

    M (gas) = (√2/0.344) ² = 2 / (0.344) ² ≈16.9
