Ultraviolet light may cause skin cancer. what is the independent variable and what is the dependent variable?

    Independent is the ultraviolet light, or how much you get exposed to. That is independent because it is the factor we can control.

    Defendant is the variable that comes out of the independent variable. So in this case the dependent variable is the skin cancer, or the outcome of the ultraviolet light.

    Dep: Any amount of skin cancer
