Hydrogen free carbon in the form of coke is burned with complete combustion using 50% excess air. identify the species that will be found in the flue gas.

    If complete combustion has occurred, then the only product of combustion would be carbon dioxide only. So, the flue gas would contain carbon dioxide (CO2), oxygen from the excess air supplied (O2) and all of the nitrogen that was supplied (N2). While the ash and other solid residues are found in the cinder.
