Multiply the price of the grape by the exchange rate to get the dollar/kg unit,

    Euro/kg * Dollar/Euro = Dollar/kg

    One 1Kg = 2.2 pound

    So we have, 1.68 Euro/kg * 1.39 Dollar/Euro * 1Kg/2.2lb

    [1.68 * 1.39] / 2.2 = 1.06

Thus, the cost of grapes in dollar per pound is $1.06.

    (1.39 dollars/Euro) x (1.68 Euro/1 kg) x (1 kg/2.2 lbs) = 1.06 dollars/lb
