    I think you are talking about homogeneous. I always think about genetics when I see this type of question, heterozygous (dominant, recessive or recessive dominant) and homozygous (dominant, dominant or recessive, recessive), just like homogenous and heterogenous. Or you can remember homosexual because they date the same sex. Whenever you see homo it means the same through out, hetero means different through out. An example of a homogeneous mixture would be salt water or a milkshake. An example of a heterogeneous mixture would be a salad or a hamburger.
