    Assume you have 100 g of the compound so you have 87.5 g N and 12.5 H and divide by their molar masses.

    87.5 g N / 14.0067 g (molar mass) = ~6.25 moles

    12.5 g H / 1.008 = ~2.4 moles

    Empirical Formula = N6H12
