    The equation is:

    5 Br⁻ (aq) + BrO₃⁻ (aq) + 6 H⁺ (aq) - - > 3 Br² (aq) + 3 H₂ O (l)

    and the answer is:

    Elemental bromine formation rate = 0.056 m s⁻¹

Consumption of 5 bromide ion and one BrO₃⁻ will give 3 elemental bromide

    So rate of disappearance of Bromide ion = 0.056 x 5 / 3 = 0.093 M S-1
