    Work = 22.011 j

    Explanation:

    Given dа ta:

    Initial volume = 6.4 L

    Final volume = 20.00 mL

    Constant pressure = 3.45 atm

    Work = ?

    Solution:

    First of all we will convert the mL into L.

    Final volume = 20.00 mL * 1 L/1000 mL

    Final volume = 0.02 L

    Formula:

    Work = Pressure * ΔV

    ΔV = initial volume - final volume

    ΔV = 6.4 L - 0.02 L

    ΔV = 6.38 L

    Now we will determine the work done.

    Work = Pressure * ΔV

    Work = 3.450 atm * 6.38 L

    Work = 22.011 atm. L

    Work = 22.011 j
