Kelly is putting up tile on a wall in a bathroom. The wall is 3.6 m long. Each tile has a length of 40 cm. How many tiles will Kelly be able to fit along the length of the wall?

    The answer is 9.

    First convert 40 cm into metres.

    40cm/100 = 0.4 metres

    0.4 times 9 = 3.6
