    Reduction half-reaction:MnO4-=Mn2+

    Explanation:

Reduction half-reaction means the reaction in which oxidation number of species decreases after reaction and in this reaction oxidaion state of manganese is reduced to + 2 from + 7 hence the reduction half-reaction will be MnO4 - = Mn2 + and it can be visualise by checking oxidation number of all the species present in the redox reaction. In this redox reaction, oxidation state of iron is increasing.
