    Concentration of the working solution is 1.213 M

    Explanation:

    Using dilution equation we can calculate the concentration of the working solution

    Initial concentration * Initial volume = Final concentration * final volume

    In this case;

    Volume of working sol = 760 mL

    Initial concentration = 3.18 M

    Initial volume = 290 mL

    Concentration of working sol=?

    Therefore;

    3.18 M * 290 mL = 760 mL * y

    Concentration of working solution = (3.18 * 290) / 760

    = 1.213 M

    Therefore: the concentration of the working solution is 1.213 M
