    Since the scientific method states the 5 basic steps list below:

    1. Ask a question.

    2. Formulate hypothesis.

    3. Perform experiments.

    4. Collect data.

    5. Set conclusions.

    They are eligible for any experiment that's why it could be misinterpreted as it was initially stated, nevertheless, science involve more than just one try and when the experiments don't match with the hypothesis, we must propose alternatives to improve the results and of course, go beyond when new researches are being performed.
