    Ans-NO (g) + OH - (aq) = HNO2 (aq) + e-

    Explanation:

    NO (g) + H2O (l) = HNO2 (aq)

Hydrogen is balanced by adding H+

    NO (g) + H2O (l) = HNO2 (aq) + H+

Charge is balanced by adding electron to that side of where charge is more

    NO (g) + H2O (l) = HNO2 (aq) + H + + e-

For reaction to be occur in basic medium, need to add OH - both side of reaction

    OH - (l) + NO (g) + H2O (l) = HNO2 (aq) + H + + e - + OH-

    OH - (l) + NO (g) + H2O (l) = HNO2 (aq) + H2O (l) + e-

    NO (g) + OH - (l) = HNO2 (aq) + e-
