What is the difference between Oxygen (O2) and Carbon

Dioxide (CO2) ?

Carbon Dioxide can exist at absolute zero and Oxygen cannot

    Oxygen is an element and CO2 is a compound.

    Explanation:

    Oxygen is it's own element in general, whereas CO2 is a mixture of Carbon and Oxygen thus making it a compound. Oxygen can exist at absolute 0. There is CO2 in our atmosphere.
