Why is water needed to provide spacecraft with oxygen

    In the chemical formula, you see that H2O = water. H is hydrogen, and we need two hydrogen ions. However, oxygen is O and this means that there's oxygen needed for water. Therefore, you need water for oxygen and vice versa
