A gas occupies 40.0 mL at - 123°C. What volume does it occupy at 27°C, assuming pressure is constant?

    Explanation:

    V1/V2 = T1/T2

    T1 = 273 - 123 = 150K

    T2 = 273 + 27 = 300 K

    40.0 mL/V2 = 150K/300K

    V2 = 40.0 mL*300K/150K = 80.0 mL
