    that is more polar compounds can easily dissolve in polar solvents while non-polar compound can easily dissolve in non polar solvents.

    Carbon tetracholride, CCl4, is a non polar solvent and CBr4 is also non polar hence it dissolves easily in ccl4.

    While the rest of the compounds mentioned above are polar in nature hence they wont dissolve easily in ccl4.
