What is one advantage and one disadvantage of using hydrogen for fuel?

Advantages: It works! It only emits water vapor*, and is easier to carry than electricity in batteries. It can also be made from carbon dioxide, but not the normal way. Making fuel from CO2 needs a process called Biological hydrogen production

Disadvantages: it doesn't exist on earth, it is a man made chemical. Yeah, hydrogen is here, but it is all bound up with other atoms. This means H2 is an inefficient use of energy and will never be a serious fuel. Other posters continue with storage and use issue too.
