What are three ways in which a metal is different to a non-metal?

    1) non. metals gain electron but metals lose electron.

    2) metals are good conductor of heat and electricity but non. meatals are bad conductor of heat and electricity.

    3) most of metals are shiny but non. metals are not.

    Metals are good conductors of energy and heat while non metals are bad conductors of energy and heat

    Metals are malleable and ductile while nonmetals are brittle

    Metals are solid at room temp expect Hg which is liquid at room temp and we have non metals that's are solid liquid and gas such as (carbon oxygen sulfur bromine iodine)
