    The ratio of the rise in the liquid level in the two tubes will be 4:1.

    Explanation:

    Density is defined by the equation bellow:

    p = m / V

    m: mass

    V: volume

    p₁ = m₁/V₁

    p₂ = m₂/V₂

    p₁/p₂ = m₁/V₁ x V₂/m₂ = 1/4

    equal amounts: m₁ = m₂

    V₂/V₁ = 1/4

    The ratio of the rise in the liquid level in the two tubes will be 4:1. This means that the liquid one has a volume 4 times bigger than the liquid 2.
