    Many physical properties

    Explanation:

The periodic table of elements arranges elements into columns called groups and rows called periods. Elements in the same period have the same number of energy levels while those in the same group share similar chemical properties. From the periodic table, one can deduce many physical properties of elements. For example, the physical state, the valence electrons, atomic radius, etc. Elements in the same group have the same number of valence electrons and as you go down the group the energy levels increase thus increasing the atomic radius. Additionally, from the periodic table, one can identify whether an element is a metal, non-metal or a metalloid.
