You have two marbles, one glass and one metal. You put the metal one into a graduated cylinder and the water level rise to 7 marks above the initial water level. When you put the glass marble into the graduated cylinder the water level rises:

A) Be the same level as it was in cylinder 1

B) Be at a higher level than it was in cylinder 1

C) Be at a lower level than it was in cylinder 1

    The answer is A) Be at the same level as it was in cylinder 1.

    Explanation:

    The weight wouldn't really apply to where the water mark would be. Since both would sink to the bottom and they are the same shape/size, the water would rise to the same level.
