What is the molarity of a solution in which 9.8 moles of sodium chloride (NaCl) is dissolved in water to a final volume of 3.2 L

    The formula for molarity is

    Molarity=moles of solute/liter of solution

    In this situation

    Moles of solution=9.8g of NaCl

    Liter of solution=3.2L of water

    Molarity=9.8/3.2

    = 3.0625M
