    Answer : The correct answer is Liquid B will remain at top.

    When two liquid are combined, they settle on the basis of their densities. The liquid with lower density will remain at top while the liquid with higher density will settle at bottom.

    So we will calculate densities of two liquids. The formula to calculate density is

    Density = mass / volume

    GIven : Liquid A = > mass = 10 g volume = 5 mL

    Density = 10 g / 5 mL

    Density = 2 g/mL

    Liquid B = > mass = 15 g volume = 10 mL

    Density = 15 g / 10 mL

    Density = 1.5 g/mL

    Hence density of Liquid A is greater than Liquid B, so the liquid B will remain at top of graduated cylinder when they are combined.
