If 10.00 mL of a 0.250 M NaCI solution is diluted to 500.00 mL, what is the concentration of the diluted solution

    Use the dilution equation of:

    M1 • V1 = M2 • V2.

    So,

    (10 mL) (0.25 M) = (500 mL) (x M)

    (10 • 0.25) / (500) = x

    0.005 M = x
