A gas has a pressure of 98kPa at 75.0°C, what is the new temperature if the pressure is reduced

to 10kPa?

    Explanation:

    Applying P1/T1 = P2/T2

    P1 = 98kPa, T1 = 273+75 = 348K

    P2 = 10kPa, T2 = ?

    Substitute into above formula

    T2 = (10*348) / 98 = 35.5K
