A bubble forms at the bottom of a lake. As it rises to the surface (but before it gets there), will it grow, shrink, or pop, why?

    As a bubble rises in water it grows due to the water pressure being lower the higher up you get. Its the same reason if you went to the bottom of the ocean your lungs would crush.
