How does an object in motion stay in motion unless acted upon by an unbalanced force

    An object in motion will remain in motion at a constant speed and in the same direction unless acted on by an unbalanced force. An object at rest will remain at rest unless acted upon by an unbalanced force. The acceleration of an object depends on the mass of the object and the amount of force applied to it.
