Waste Management involves minimizing, reusing, recycling, and recovering energy from as much waste as possible. This in term contributes to the main goal of conservation which is the prevention of wasteful use of a resource. By finding a way to recover and re-purpose these already used resources you are preventing more resources from being used when the recycled ones can still be of value.
