How much is needed to accelerate a 1000-kg car at a rate of 3m/s^2

    If its the force you hav to calculate then use the equation F=ma where

    F is foce

    m is mass

    a is acceleration

    Therefore F = 1000kg * 3ms^-2 = 3000N
