Explanation: The difference between the processes of melting and freezing are that freezing is the process of a substance turning from liquid to a solid whereas melting is the process of a substance turning from a solid to a liquid. In freezing coldness need to be add as heat is being removed, but in melting heat needs to be added. For example when you freeze water you have to put it in the freezer which is a cold place and it turns to a solid. When you melt chocolate you add heat to it making it turn to a liquid.
