A sample of oxygen gas has a volume of 27.3 mL at 294 K. At what temperature would the gas have a volume of 40.0 mL

    Using Gay Lussac's Law, you would have:

    27.3mL/294K = 40.0mL/x. where x is the temperature in Kelvin it would have at 40.0mL

    Solving for x you get, 431 Kelvin.
