    B. It does not change the chemical composition of water.

Basically, ice is water before it became ice. So basically, it just returned to it's original state and form.

    B. It does not change the chemical composition of water

    Explanation:

A physical change is every change a substance suffers and its chemical composition doesn't change, only its form, meaning it is still the same substance. All the state changes are physical changes

The melting of ice or fusion is a physical change where the ice molecules, become liquid. Because it's a physical change it doesn't changes the chemical composition of water, it doesn't creates new bond (which would mean it changes the chemical composition), it doesn't form new products, ice is solid water, after fusion it's just water and its reversible because you can freeze water to form ice.

So, in the melting of ice does not change the chemcical composition of water
