11.865 x 10⁻³ atm over a certain interval of time.

    Explanation:

    As the reaction: 2O₃ → 3O₂, The rate of the reaction = - d[O₃] / 2dt = d[O₂] / 3dt,

where, ( - d[O₃] / dt) is the rate of disappearance of ozone = 7.91 * 10⁻³ atm over a certain interval of time,

(d[O₂] / dt) is the rate of appearance of O₂.

    ∴ The rate of appearance of O₂ = (d[O₂] / dt) = ( - 3d[O₃] / 2dt) = 3 (the rate of disappearance of ozone) / 2 = [3 (7.91 * 10⁻³ atm over a certain interval of time] / 2 = 11.865 x 10⁻³ atm over a certain interval of time.
