which object would have more potential energy a bowling ball stored on a high shelf in a closet or a baseball on the same shelf? why? which one would you rather fall on your head

    Potential energy mathematically is P = m*g*h.

    Where m = mass of the ball, g = acceleration. due to gravity which is constant

    and h = the height which is also same.

    Since, a bowling ball has more mass than a baseball, therefore, its potential energy would be higher generally.

    A baseball is more likely to fall on your head because of its round shape.
