The formula for density = mass/volume.

    2.70 g/cm³ = 98.66 grams / x volume

So to find the volume, divide 98.66g by 2.70g/cm³. This cancels out the grams, leaving cm³ (volume).

Answer rounded to 3 sig figs = 36.5 cm³ aluminum = volume

    Double check: 98.66:36.5 = 2.70
