A sample of gas occupies a volume of 486ml at 508tor. At constant temperature what will the new pressure (torr) when the volume changes to 6.17L

    P1V1=P2V2

    P1=500mmHg

    p2=750mmHg

    v1=9ml

    v2=?

    500x9=750xv2

    4500=750xV2

    v2=4500/750

    v2=6ml it is getting smaller
