Carbon dioxide gas will be generated and released as the anti-acid pill dissolves.

    Explanation:

The antacid are the pills which reduce the acidity in stomach by neutralizing the acid like citric acid which causes heartburn. Antacid is baking soda, or sodium bicarbonate. The bicarbonate ions react with hydrogen ions from the citric acid to form carbon dioxide gas and water. Much of the gas escapes from the surface, as result weight of glass of water decreases.
