How would you test for carbon dioxide and oxygen?

    the first gas we're going to look at is carbon dioxide and the standard test for carbon dioxide is to. normally to bubble the carbon dioxide through lime water which is saturated calcium. hydroxide the carbon dioxide reacts with the lime water to form a precipitate of calcium carbonate.
