    = 1.44 L

    Explanation;

    Boyle's law states that the volume of a fixed mass of a gas is inversely proportional to its pressure at a constant temperature.

    Mathematically;

    P α 1/V

    PV = constant

    Thus, P1V1 = P2V2

    P1 = 1.00 atm, V1 = 3.60 liters, V2 = ?, P2 = 2.50 atm

    V2 = P1V1/P2

    = (1 * 3.6) / 2.5

    = 1.44 L
