    The answer to your question is V2 = 29.9 ml

    Explanation:

    Data

    Volume 1 = V1 = 35 ml

    Pressure 1 = P1 = 1 atm

    Temperature 1 = T1 = 150°C

    Volume 2 = V2 = ? ml

    Pressure 2 = P2 = 2 atm

    Temperature 2 = T2 = 450 °C

    Process

    1. - Convert temperature to °K

    Temperature 1 = 150 + 273 = 423°K

    Temperature 2 = 450 + 273 = 723°K

    2. - Use the Combined gas law to find the volume

    P1V1/T1 = P2V2/T2

    -Solve for V2

    V2 = P1V1T2 / T1P2

    -Substitution

    V2 = (1 x 35 x 723) / (423 x 2)

    -Simplification

    V2 = 25305 / 846

    -Result

    V2 = 29.9 ml
