    0.019 L

    Explanation:

    Let the volume coefficient of thermal expansion be γ

    γ = 950 * 10-6 K-1

    Initial volume V1 = 1.00L

    Final volume V2=?

    Initial temperature θ1 = 30°C

    Final temperature θ2 = 50°C

    From;

    γ = V2-V1/V1 (θ2 - θ1)

    Making V2 the subject of the formula;

    V2 = γ V1 (θ2 - θ1) + V1

    Substituting values;

    V2 = 950 * 10^-6 * 1.00 (50-30) + 1.00

    V2 = 1.019 L

    Change in volume = V2-V1

    Therefore change in volume = 1.019 L - 1.00L = 0.019 L
