    The moles of C is 7.5 moles

    Calculation

    calculate the number of C atoms present in C5H10o2

    = 1 x5 = 5 atoms

    1.5 moles present propyl acetate for 1 atom

    what about 5 atoms of C

    by cross multiplication

    = 1.5 moles x5 = 7.5 moles
