Some electromagnetic radiation is powerful enough to enter cells and cause cause DNA damage. Since DNA is the molecule of heredity for cells, damage to this molecule can lead to mutations and cancer. The smaller the wavelength, the more powerful the radiation. Additionally, only waves with small wavelengths can enter structures as small as cells. According to the diagram, which type of electromagnetic radiation would not be able to enter cells and damage their DNA?
