    The new pressure is 315.17 ml

    Calculation

    The new pressure is calculated using Charles law formula

    that is V1/T1 = V2/T2 where,

    V1 = 375 ml

    T1 = 78 °C into kelvin = 78 + 273 = 351 K

    V2=?

    T2 = 22 °c into kelvin = 22 + 273 = 295 K

    make V2 the subject of the formula by multiplying both side by T2

    V2 = T2V1/T1

    V2 = [ (295 K x 375 ml) / 351 k] = 315.17 ml
