    Answer;

    CaCO₃ is the precipitate

    Explanation; In the reaction;

    CaCl₂ (aq) + K₂CO₃ (aq) → CaCO₃ (s) + 2KCl (aq)

    Calcium carbonate is the precipitate as it is insoluble in water.

    The above reaction is an example of a precipitation reaction also known as double decomposition reaction, in which two soluble salts are reacted to form a soluble salt and another insoluble salt which is the precipitate. During precipitation the salts exchange their ions resulting to formation of a precipitate, in our case calcium carbonate is our precipitate since it is insoluble in water.
