    mass NH3 = 11.264 g

    mass N2 = 9.264 g

    Explanation:

    balanced reaction:

    N2 + 3H2 → 2NH3

    ∴ mass H2 = 2.00 g

    ∴ molar mass H2 = 2.016 g/mol

    ∴ molar mass N2 = 28.0134 g/mol

    ∴ molar mass NH3 = 17.031 g/mol

    ⇒ mol H2 = (2.00 g) * (mol/2.016 g) = 0.992 mol

    ⇒ mol NH3 = (0.992 mol H2) * (2 mol NH3/3 mol H2) = 0.6614 mol

    ⇒ mass NH3 = (0.6614 mol) * (17.031 g/mol) = 11.264 g

    ⇒ mol N2 = (0.6614 mol NH3) * (mol N2/2 mol NH3) = 0.3307 mol

    ⇒ mass N2 = (0.3307 mol) * (28.0134 g/mol) = 9.264 g
