The vertical rows in a periodic table are called rows. Whereas columns in a periodic table are called group.

So, elements in a periodic table when arranged in a period then they tend to repeat their properties because when the row repeats then elements with similar properties fall under same groups.

Thus, we can conclude that in the periodic table, a set of properties repeats from row to row.
