What happens to the size of a metal element as it becomes a cation?

    Explanation: Cation is formed By the loss electrons. We called it as oxidation.

    And generally neutral element is larger in size than cation

    And anion is larger in size than neutral element.

    Example: Na + is smaller in size than Na atom.
