    New concentration = 1.512 M

    Explanation:

    Using the equation for dilution;

    M1V1 = M2V2

    M1 = 12.4 M, V1 = 100 mL or 0.1 L

    M2 = ?, V2 = 0.820 L

    Therefore;

    M2 = M1V1/V2

    = (12.4 * 0.1) / (0.820L)

    = 1.512 M
